    A member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber Al-Anoud Bint Tawfiq Al-Rammah said that the sixth edition of the Women’s Economic Forum 2020 organized by the Asharqia Chamber under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province under the title “Empowerment and Ambition” is reviewed by officials, specialists, and specialists. Prominent, the most important of which are: the wise leadership’s appreciation of the importance and role of women economically and socially and plans to empower them, women in leadership positions and boards of directors, the Quality of Life Program 2020 and its economic impacts on women, in addition to discussing the issue of women at the G20 summit.​

    ​Al-Ramah explained that the forum, which will be held through visual communication technology on Wednesday 25 November 2020. It comes at a time when women continued to record successes in the field of work, following the confidence and support they found from the wise leadership, which contributed to increasing their participation in national development, pointing out that women in Saudi Arabia is capable of making accomplishments and has written successive successes inside and outside the homeland, stressing that the forum aims to highlight these achievements and highlight and document the march of Saudi women.

    Regarding the contributions of the Asharqia Chamber, Al-Rammah pointed out that the Chamber sought, through the establishment of the Businesswomen’s Center, to be a framework through which the Chamber works to solve and remove the various obstacles facing businesswomen’s economic projects, and for the center to be a tool in mobilizing and mobilizing the efforts of businesswomen by activating the center’s role in organizing forums Economic This march will contribute to developing the economies of the region, rising rates of economic growth, and achieving more developmental gains.​

    For her part, a member of the board of directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Nouf Bint Abdulaziz Al-Turki, said that the forum was held over a period of five years, during which it discussed the most important issues that directly or indirectly affect women's economic empowerment. Development is a national and social necessity, and its economic empowerment, whether in family businesses or through organizations and associations of businesswomen, in addition to discussing the most important legislative and social obstacles.
    Al-Turki indicated that the forum, in its sixth edition, seeks to discuss the honorable leadership’s appreciation of the importance of the economic and social role of women and plans to empower them by strengthening their presence in leadership centers and decision-making centers as well as strengthening their presence in various investment sectors that achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 programs and enrich the national economy.​
